Large teaching hospital
The deployment was in two phases:
- administrative phase
- clinical phase
Over 1200 patients attend the hospital each day requiring registration, booking and accounts settling.
Reception
The first area of training was the reception staff. 8 staff required 15 minutes each and this meant that registration of a patient could be reduced to 20 seconds. Patients were booked to the correct consultant - over 300 consultants work in the outpatients
Accounts
The accounts desk needed setting up with the consultation charges and investigation fees added. This means that as each item is requested of the patient this is automatically put on to the patient's account.
Patient flow
The patients then went up to the department for the consultation and were checked when they arrived. This automatically updated the consultant's desktop to show that the patient was there.

Our software has been deployed at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre.

This is an internationally famous large teaching hospital in India, with 1000+ beds. Deployment was June 2011 and we are implementing the MeddNexus software at Sri Ramachandra Medical College Hospital outpatients.
